It is with great pleasure that we announce that we have selected Camila Garza to serve as the Co-Head Coach of the National Hispanic Institute at Tip of Texas for the 2024 season!
Camila Garza is a junior at Saint Joseph Academy, where she participates in several extra curricular activities, including Student Council, Chem Club, B.I.O.N.I.C., Rotary, Green Team, and Texas Say What. She has been involved in NHI since her freshman year, when she advanced to the Elite 8 and was received the All State distinction in Oratory at the 2021 Texas Great Debate at Schreiner University. She is currently continuing her NHI experience as a coach in the category of Oratory.
"I would like to thank the Tip of Texas Region for the amazing opportunity to be this years Co-Head Coach of the Region," Garza said. "Not only will I motivate myself to be a better coach, leader, and person but I strongly believe I will also motivate others to do the same," she added. "I have always enjoyed playing a role in this community and I am honored to take on this role not only as a learning experience but as a challenge as well. It is a privilege to be able to impact our future leaders and help them develop various skills that will help them grow in the future."
